Our Story

Team Work

Kennel Lozani are a father and son team, Zarko and Jordan. Zarko's great passion was to become a veterinarian, that was not to be but his love for animals remains. Zarko is now semi retired and dedicates most of his time to his dogs. Jordan is one of Australia's few internationally qualified small animal hydrotherapists and has a keen interest in canine anatomy and biomechanics. He leads Lozani's show preparations and training.

Beginnings

Zarko obtained his first GSD puppy when he was a youngster, it came from military breeding. They were always family pets until 2002 when the first 'show quality' puppy was obtained (Benya) and participation in all breed and specialty shows commenced. Kennel Lozani was registered with Dogs NSW and started breeding in 2012.

The Future

Our contribution to the German Shepherd scene in Australia is growing as we have played significant part in the introduction of new bloodlines having imported Wulkano-Uno von Schnitzerteam (Hungary), Alisha Team Tomahavk (Serbia) and Pupi von neu Garmond (Hungary).

Our aim is to produce German Shepherd puppies as close to the breed standard as possible, sound in body and mind to be able to perform any function or task assigned to them be it in a working capacity or lounging on the sofa next to us as family companions.
